Description: Description: Summary of the Position: Being of service to facilitate memorable moments, meaningful connections; inspiring loyalty and creating a reputation of excellence in hospitality by providing positive, personable interactions with our guests and our co-workers. To maintain expert knowledge of the Pelican food menu and beverage program, including beer knowledge and cocktail recipe knowledge. Provide exemplary service to all guests and be a resource for fellow team members. Responsible for providing exemplary guest service, communicating effectively and efficiently with FOH and BOH, and maintaining cleanliness and stocking of bar. Understands the importance of being hospitable, friendly, and communicative with guests to ensure a positive dining experience at the Pelican.
3 years of FOH hospitality bar experience preferred 1 year of FOH hospitality leadership position preferred Experience making cocktails Experience in the beer industry, serving and general knowledge of beer preferred Advanced understanding of interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills Experience using hospitality POS systems such as Heartland, Toast or Square Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically able to move and lift things such as kegs, liquor orders and large food trays OLCC and Food Handler's Certification Exceptional communication skills
