Description: Job Opportunity: OB/GYN in Bad Axe, Michigan Join a dedicated team at a premier facility located in Bad Axe, Michigan, where an immediate opening for an OB/GYN awaits. Step into an established practice with an existing patient base as a current provider retires. This position offers the chance to work in a financially sound organization with a collegial environment, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient care. Job Responsibilities: - Provide care in a clinic setting alongside another MD and a Nurse Practitioner.
- Manage an existing patient panel in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Perform approximately 460 gynecological procedures annually.
- See 30-40 patients daily, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Utilize dedicated surgery days to manage patient care effectively.
- Conduct on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy.
- Participate in hospital call with a schedule of 7 days/month, only on weekends.
- Engage in a practice model that promotes work-life balance with paper charting systems.
Qualifications: - Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Michigan medical license (or in the process of obtaining).
- DEA license (or willing to obtain).
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
