Nocturnist Physician Assistant

We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

Local Team Collaboration:

• At Bridgeton, our strong, collaborative team includes 28 physicians and 4 APPs at SSM Health DePaul. We also have the support of three clinical performance nurses, one hospital coordinator, and one program manager.


• As a team, we value our collaboration with the nursing staff and specialists throughout the hospital. Patients are our top priority, and we do a great job of always keeping that focus at the forefront.


• Excellent subspecialty support.

Qualifications:

• Physician assistant board certification is required


• New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling options with full-time, part-time, and PRN status.

Key Responsibilities:

• This position will collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on the night shift, managing admissions and responding to rapid responses and stroke alerts.


• We welcome the challenge of highly complex cases. Our ICU is closed, procedures and codes are not required, and we are grateful for 24/7 in-house specialty support in all but a few specialty areas.
