Job Summary:
Coach Canada is hiring a licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on buses and trucks. Must ensure all work meets Ministry of Transportation standards.
Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel engines (Detroit, Cummins) and vehicle systems
Maintain brake, suspension, HVAC, electrical, and wheelchair lift systems
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
Follow all safety regulations and documentation standards
Mechanic Qualifications:
Valid 310T License and Ontario Driver's License (BZ required; A, B, C, D preferred)
Experience with heavy vehicle diagnostics and repairs
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical manuals
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to work independently and flexible hours
Computer literacy (Lotus Notes, AS400, internet)
Familiarity with ITS systems, fareboxes, GPS, and electronic signage
Mechanic Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, bending, crawling, climbing, and use of tools
