Hematology/Oncology Physician

• Provide hematology and oncology care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Participate in a collegial group of 4 providers, including 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Manage a patient load averaging 10-15 patients per day.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and follow-ups with new patients, ensuring quality care.
• Participate in weekly tumor boards and coordinate with genetic counselors for patient care.
• Handle call responsibilities approximately 1:2 via phone with few in-person calls.
• Utilize Cerner EMR and support the operations of the practice.

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology.
• Fellowship training preferred.
• Active medical license to practice in Michigan preferred but not required at the time of hiring.
• Experience in outpatient procedures and consultation.
