Responsibilities:
As a Licensed/Certified Athletic Trainer, you will play a vital role in supporting our Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy practice and building a high-quality sports medicine program in the Suwannee County community.
- Provide clinical services in collaboration with Physical Therapists and Assistants.
- Develop and implement injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs for athletes.
- Work with high school and collegiate athletic programs, club sports programs, community engagement events, and outpatient clinics.
- Promote education on injury prevention and wellness to athletes, coaches, and the community.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing and certification requirements.
Requirements:
Education: A graduate of an accredited Athletic Trainer program.
License: An active or eligible state license to practice as an Athletic Trainer in Florida.
Certification: Current Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Training.
Experience: Prior experience as an Athletic Trainer is preferred, but new grads are welcome!
Skills: Ability to work independently and serve in community events, high school & collegiate sports teams, and outpatient clinics.
