Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in Colorado 7-10 Days Per Month Call Coverage ASAP 2025 Start Assignment
Coverage Needs:
Coverage: 7-10 days per month Call coverage starting ASAP through April 2026
Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7:00am-7:00am
o Includes 1.5 hours of rounding in morning, and 1.5 hours of rounding in afternoon
Assignment Details/Requirements:
Reason for Coverage: need for more staffing
Privileging Timeline: 60-90 days
Willing to license
Required Procedures: Full spectrum Cardiothoracic surgery, Chest tube removal, Pulling pacing wires
E&M codes
Support Staff/Team Structure: MAs, RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs
Volume: 7-10 calls per day, 7-10 calls per night, 10-13 patients seen per shift
Population: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
Requirements: BC, BLS

o Number of Beds: 250 staffed beds
o ER: 40,000 ER visits per year
