Correctional Setting
Located near Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, with tons of natural beauty and affordable living.
Need is for adult inpatient coverage at the acute care hospital on this correctional facility's campus.
No call. However, Call is optional if our Doctor wants to share in the call schedule.
Average daily census stays full.
Average length of stay: about five to six days, except those waiting for transfer-out or court hearing.
Average daily case load for the locum tenens Doctor is 14 patients, including average one admission per Doctor per day.
Physicals for H&Ps for new admissions are done by Primary Care Physicians, not the locum tenens Doctor.
Client prefers 6 month minimum assignments
