Practice Setting: Hospital-based, CVICU
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Daily Census: 9 patients
EMR System: EPIC
Trauma Level: Level II
Work Autonomously: Yes
Supervising Physician: Present during the day, available by phone at night
Required Procedures:
- Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters
- Placement of Arterial Lines and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
- Chest Tube Insertions
On-Call/Weekends: As needed
Compensation & Reimbursement:
- Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Requirements:
- Board Certified (NCCPA) - Required
- MI License - Highly Preferred (Willing to consider those needing to obtain a license)
- BLS, ACLS - Required
- Must have prior experience
