Schedule:
- Shifts: Days Shifts, Mon-Sun (8am - 5pm)
- Weeknight call and weekend call is possible.
- 7 days on/7days off
Description:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient Psych
- Patient Per shift: 5-12
- Department Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescents
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing Time frame: 60-90 days
- Rotate coverage with the Physician.
- Physicians will work on Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults, supervising APPs,
- Provider will round in the morning, and every third day
- Will take a turn managing all hospital calls/consults, etc.
- How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group: 1 part-time inpatient right now
- How Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group: 2
- Trauma Level: Level-III
Treatment Disorders:
Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personali ty Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
Required to have familiarity with:
Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Secl usion therapy, Voluntary Commitments and ER
Requirements:
- Inpatient Psych Experience, 2+ years preferred
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified
- License: Iowa State License or IMLC Licensed
- Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up
