Description: The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for full-time Housing Assistants to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Housing Assistant, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the housing facilities at the property. Clean housing, restrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other communal areas. Inspect the facilities and grounds; ensure all areas are clean. Timely response to housing requests with ability to take appropriate action. Coordinate and distribute the linen and room supplies. Valid driver's license with a clean MVR required to drive company vehicle. More about you Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred. Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment and manage workload. Valid driver's license with ability to safely operate company vehicle in inclement weather. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical requirements Requires ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Constant standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing stairs, grasping and repetitive motions. Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including season extremes of hot and cold. Exposure to chemicals to clean and sanitize housing areas, common rooms and equipment.
