How you will make an impact:


As a Cook at St. Mark Village, you are responsible for preparing daily meals and special event menus in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with the culinary team in food production, menu planning, and the preparation of baked goods, sauces, soups, and other meals from scratch. You will ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, including maintaining a clean kitchen environment. The cook will also oversee the proper presentation of meals, supervise and mentor culinary associates, and ensure accurate, consistent, and timely food production.



Schedule: This is a full-time position with day-time hours.


What you will need:



  • Chef/cook certification or a minimum of 3 years of quantity cooking experience in lieu of a degree or certification.

  • Senior living or healthcare kitchen experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of Residents or team members.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
