Description: Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology in Williston, ND
Summary:
Williston, North Dakota is seeking a dedicated radiologist for long-term locum coverage, commencing as soon as credentialed. This role requires the physician to be onsite for one week per month (five consecutive days) to perform minor procedures and image readings, including diagnostic mammograms, breast biopsies, and various imaging studies. This opportunity is ideal for healthcare providers looking to make a difference in a growing community and start as soon as possible.
Job Responsibilities: - Perform onsite minor procedures and image reads, including:
- Diagnostic mammograms
- Breast biopsies
- Barium enemas
- Small bowel follow-through
- Upper GI studies
- Epidural steroid injections
- Abscess drainage
- Medicare overreads
- Work alongside support staff, ensuring efficient patient care and procedure execution.
- Read images between procedures to manage time effectively.
- Maintain communication with coordinating teams regarding procedures and patient needs.
Qualifications: - Board Certified in Radiology - REQUIRED
- North Dakota License - REQUIRED or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, MQSA certified - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice/background - PREFERRED
- Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements: - Board Certification in Radiology: REQUIRED
- Active North Dakota Medical License or IMLC
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, MQSA - REQUIRED
