Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician |
Description: Job Overview: We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD/DO) to provide outpatient and inpatient consultative services in a hospital-based setting. This position offers flexible scheduling options (full-time or part-time) with a strong support team. Key Responsibilities:
Clinic coverage: Monday Thursday, 8:30 AM 4:00 PM.
Patient Load: patients per day (new and follow-ups).
Inpatient Consults & Rounding: Support for hospitalized oncology patients.
Call Requirements:
- One weeknight call per week.
- Occasional 24-hour weekend call.
- Solo provider role with inpatient APP support during normal hours.
Requirements:
- Board-Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Maryland Medical License (will consider candidates needing to obtain a license).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology.
- BLS Certification required.
- DEA & Maryland CSR License required.
- Must have at least 3 days of availability per week to be considered.
