Description: Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Core Faculty member with obstetrics experience to join our passionate team in southwest Wisconsin. Highlights: Must have a strong interest in teaching Precept on average four to five half days per week in the residency clinic See your own patients in clinic two to three half days per week One half day per week of administration time Four-day work week (unless on call/delivering) Participate in mentoring and didactic activities Participate in educational activities such as simulation, procedural workshops, and other educational activities Participate in academic interests such as research as deemed necessary be the PD Participate in regular faculty meetings Participate in the Clinical Competency Committee (evaluating residents) and our Program Evaluation Committee Obstetrical call (q5-6), newborn and postpartum care Prior teaching experience and faculty development training are preferred but not required Community: Nestled along the Mississippi River, this scenic city offers a vibrant mix of outdoor activities, cultural attractions, and a charming downtown area.
