Description: Join Our Team as a Hematologist/Oncologist in Findlay, OH Be a part of a dedicated healthcare team in a community-focused facility that welcomes over 1,200 new cancer patients each year. Our modern Armes Family Cancer Care Center is a fully accredited, comprehensive regional cancer center undergoing exciting renovations, which include the expansion of our lab and pharmacy and the addition of new state-of-the-art exam rooms and infusion bays. Job Responsibilities: - Provide clinical care with a 50% hematology and 50% oncology patient mix, specializing in common cases such as breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers.
- Utilize a care team model, working closely with 1 dedicated RN and 1 MA per physician, along with 2 NPs.
- Participate in a traditional 4-day clinic schedule with 1 remote administrative day or consider alternative scheduling options.
- Offer chemotherapy administration, supported by chemo-certified RNs and access to various onsite services including radiation oncology and genetic counseling.
- Engage with local hospital administration and decision-makers to contribute to practice operations and patient care strategies.
- Mentor and receive mentorship from experienced colleagues within a robust support network.
- Be involved in clinical trials, tumor registries, and navigate patients through clinical and financial resources.
Qualifications: - Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Hematology - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology - REQUIRED
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and license history - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements: - Must possess Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
- Ohio medical license or readiness to obtain one.
- Documentation of clean malpractice and license history.
