Position: Logistics Analyst |
Description: Overview Logistics Analyst (F-): Bowhead seeks a Logistics Analyst to support the NAVAIR Crew Served Weapons In-Service Engineering activity in Crane, IN. The Logistics Analyst will provide logistics management support related to Aircraft Gun Systems. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Tracking of inventory in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and locally established procedures for inventory accountability. Candidate will be responsible for approximately 1,000 line items of inventory. Responsible for movement of materials via local maintenance induction requests, local request for issue procedures, DD Form 1149 and DD Form 1348-1A transactions. Processing of MILSTRIP requisition requests via local procedures. This will include development of Purchase Request documents, tracking of order status/follow up actions, receipt processing, and inventory updates. Management of HAZMAT inventory in compliance with local procedures. Management of calibrated tools/hand tools inventory. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (prefered) and one (1) to five (5) years of experience. Experience may be subsituted in liue of education. Must be able to obtain forklift certification. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
