Trilogy Financial is looking for an Employer Solutions Specialist. The Employer Solutions Specialist serves as a centralized resource to the Employer Retirement Solutions (ERS) team, which ultimately serves our advisors and their clients regarding overall business retirement plans. This may include supporting advisors inquiries, assisting in plan design, product analysis, researching vendors, and proposal generation. The position requires extensive contact with internal staff to provide retirement plan updates.

Key Responsibilities:



Prospecting:



  • Present different pricing options, either directly or through advisors.

  • Work with advisor team to identify retirement plan opportunities within existing books of business.

  • Collect plan/census information from prospects.

  • Analyze information to review current plan or illustrate possible plan design (RK comps fee analysis, plan design sheets, fee benchmarker, Fi360/fund analysis). Work with TPAs and RKs to get PS/CB illustrations when needed.

  • Initiate start-up and conversion plans with TPA and/or RK.

  • Present analysis and/or illustrations to clients.

  • Follow-up on process throughout start-up make sure everything is on track and make sure what the clients expressed they wanted in initial discussion is what is reflected in their actual plan.

  • Make sure PSIMAs are sent out to all new/conversion plans.







Onboarding:



  • Gather company information, create adoption agreements, write proposals, and connect clients with advisors for enrollment meetings.

  • Manage new client onboarding and implementation process. Assist in selling and servicing retirement plans, including ordering proposals, developing product comparisons, and coordinating details to implement or convert plans.

  • Communicate with advisor/educate advisor about enrollment meetings.

  • Create enrollment materials for advisor to use (PowerPoint, enrollment guides, who to call).

  • Collect information for CB plans so advisor knows what to include when opening accounts with Advisor Services.

  • Submit the process in Practifi







Education:



  • Assist in creation and maintenance of business development ideas and marketing materials. Plan and organize retirement-related workshops, meetings and campaigns.

  • Assist with managing and execution of enrollment and education programs for plan participants. Recommend changes to the team as appropriate.

  • Walk clients through funding safe harbor/profit shar/cash balance plans.







Support:



  • Point of contact for any retirement plan inquiries regarding enrollment, rollovers, loans, and any other account servicing needs.

  • Maintain retirement related database, include: fiduciary file and compliance.

  • Perform due diligence on investment options on a quarterly basis. Ensure plan documentation and reporting requirements are in compliance.

  • Partner with the Retirement Plan team to keep fee benchmarks up to date for client reviews.

  • Administrative help when needed (e.g., helping to complete forms for RIA changes, plan amendments, identify payroll/admin issues and help to resolve them, plan terminations).







Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in the workforce.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.

  • Preferred candidate has knowledge of qualified plans, ERISA regulations, and plan administration.

  • FINRA securities licenses (or interest in obtaining) is preferred.
