Job Description:


The Advanced Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist I prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. This position prepares stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculates doses to be administered by radiologists. The position subjects patients to radiation, as well as executes blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies following standard laboratory techniques.


Requirements:


Satisfactory completion of a formal education program accredited by A.R.R.T or a mechanism acceptable to the A.R.R.T. of Society of Nuclear Medicine


: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technology, or registered by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
