Description: Overview Supply Technician (EAGLE 1): Bowhead seeks a Supply Technician to support its recently awarded Eagle contract in Aberdeen, MD.The Supply Technician receives, stores, processes, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. The Supply Technician keeps records and compiles stock reports for the receipt, storage, management, issue, and turn-in of Class I, II, III, IV, VII, and IX supplies in the Supply Support Activity. Possesses operational skills and knowledge of automated supply systems, related regulations, analytical techniques, and causative research skills. Responsibilities Essential functions will include: Provide basic customer assistance regarding receipt, issue, and turn-in requirements. Properly position conveyances at loading locations, open seals and doors, tally inbound stock, and palletize items in temporary warehousing areas. Verify identity, quantity, and condition of supplies or equipment received, opening cartons for visual inspection and checking against the packing list, purchase order or contract. Perform goods receipt for goods delivered to the SSA into the SSA inventory. Tally, accept or reject material, sign for receipts, and coordinate pickup of accepted items to the requesting organization. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors. Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Participate in periodic, routine, and annual inventories. Safeguard equipment and supplies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required in addition to at least two (2+) years of experience in an Army property management system. Knowledge of Army supply/property management policies and procedures is required and qualified candidates must be highly skilled with GCSS-Army. Valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Physical Demands: Lift/carry/push/slide up to 50 pounds routinely, up to 75 pounds occasionally. Stand for long periods of time. Bend, squat, stoop, crouch, balance, and lean. Possess good motor skills and coordination. Re-palletize equipment. Sit for periods of time operating the computer keyboard. Repeat the same movements. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. Due to the location of this work, U.S. citizenship is required.
