Position: Hematology/Oncology Physician |
Description: Facility in Cumberland, MD seeking Hem Onc locums coverage $550/hr Facility is seeking locum Hematology/Oncology coverage for one week each month to cover vacation schedules. Responsibilities will primarily be outpatient with some inpatient consults. Scheduling Details:
- Start Date: January 6, 2025
- Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Estimated Shifts per Month: 5
- On Call: No on-call requirements
- Support Staff: Dedicated exam nurse, with additional nursing and administrative support
Duties:
- Outpatient care, seeing up to 18 clinic patients daily
- Approximately 1-2 inpatient consults per day; consults managed during clinic hours or at day s end
Facility Details:
- EMR: Meditech for both inpatient and outpatient
- Typical Cases: Breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma, and hematology
Requirements:
- Education/Certification: M.D. or D.O., Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience: 3+ years required
- Licensure: Maryland license preferred but will consider providers willing to obtain one
- Certifications: DEA, CSR required
