Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and a supportive work environment in a hospital that prioritizes physician wellness and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time emergency care
- Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), covering approximately 100-133 hours per month.
- Treat patients with a variety of acute conditions, making quick and accurate diagnoses.
- Average of 52 patients per day/night with 5-6 admissions per shift.
- Handle typical emergency procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, ultrasound-guided IVs, laceration repairs, cardiac pacing and defibrillation, pressor support, and management of sepsis, stroke, and STEMI patients.
- Interpret X-rays overnight and manage patients across a range of acuities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Active Pennsylvania State License
- Certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- Minimum availability of 66 hours per month.
