Neurosurgery job in Montclair NJ

A well-established neurosurgery practice located in the Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center (Harries Pavilion), in Montclair, NJ- 20 mi from NYC, is searching for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a hardworking and energetic personality to keep up with this busy practice. Must have excellent communication skills for dealing with patients, their families, physicians and other healthcare providers. This position will involve working with a national leader in spinal surgery and will stress preoperative assessments, medical management before and after surgery, and postoperative care.

About Your Work:

• Enjoy working in the Inpatient and Outpatient settings (predominantly outpatient)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p (Surgery Days schedule is 7a-3:30p)
• No Weekends
• No Call

Required: Experience in clinical patient evaluations.

Preferred: Experience in Pain Management, Neurosurgery and/or Spine in addition to experience in Pre-Op evaluations for medical clearance. Ability to speak Spanish is not required but is a bonus.
