Highly responsible professional work directing a financial management program.


The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2024. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $39.70 - $57.98 per hour.


This position is part of the Merit System Supervisory Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement represented by the Arrowhead Public Service Union.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK

An employee in this class is responsible for analyzing, planning, developing and directing a financial management program. Duties include directing the accounting, budgeting, disbursing and receivable functions and financial reports. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

These work environment factors are general in nature and may vary depending on the specific position being filled. CONSTANT: Near and Midrange Vision; Talk/Speak; Works with others; Works around others; and Inside. FREQUENT: Lift-push/pull while stationary up to 10 pounds; Carry-push/pull while moving about up to 10 pounds; Hearing (close proximity 0-5 feet); Headset; Bend Neck; Grasp; Handle; Maintain Posture; Move About; Sit and Walk. OCCASIONAL: Hearing distance (up to 20 feet); Ear phone; Reach; Reach Above Shoulder; Rotate Neck; Stand; Stoop/Bend; Works alone; Customer/Public contact; Extended Day and Drive. RARE: Lift-push/pull while stationary up to 50 pounds; Carry-push/pull while moving about up to 50 pounds; Balance; Kneel; Squat; Twist (waist) and Outside.



SELECTION PROCESS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - (Pass/Fail):

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or a closely related field; AND four (4) years full-time paid verifiable experience supervising professional accountants.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.


RATING SYSTEM:


Supplemental Questionnaire will be 100% of the scoring process:


Points will be awarded based on the applicants answers to supplemental questions 6-9.
