Description: Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide medical services at public schools in Lea County, New Mexico. Quick Job Facts: Ref #:BD-547-03 Profession: Occupational Therapist Location: Leo County, New Mexico Facility Type: Public Schools Job Type: Contract Shift Schedule: Mondays- Fridays, 7:50am-3:30pm Start Date: July Rate: $60/hrRequirements: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy New Mexico State Board license New Mexico Public Education Department license Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations to determine if children have occupational therapy needs and ascertain appropriate services. Participate in Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.) meetings for potential and current cases. Create written implementation plans for I.E.P. goals in collaboration with other professionals. Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other relevant individuals regarding assigned cases. Regularly assess and report on the progress of students in the caseload. Maintain and update instructional materials in collaboration with special education teachers. Supervise the assigned COTA Submit necessary reports on a weekly basis Any other duties as assigned.
