Position: Commercialization SETA 120-003 with Security Clearance

Description: Commercialization SETA: In this role you will: In the role of Commercialization SETA, you will work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative entrepreneurial environment as a commercial / technical champion in support of the client. Leverage a breadth of expertise in technology, government contracting process, and commercialization of advanced technologies for both the commercial and DoD markets. You will be part of a team with world-class scientists, industry, and commercialization experts to drive leading technical research efforts forward for the commercialization of advanced commercial, DoD, and dual-use technologies to support the client's mission. Role Highlights: Provide support for the portfolio prioritization, project reviews, and project pipeline development. Conduct analysis and assessment of portfolio allocation, time from tapping leading commercialization insights and strategy to contracting, to execution and first to market piloting. Present findings, track, and drive commercialization progress, analyze commercialization projects plans, and perform other related tasks required by the client. Assist with program management, program development, and briefing materials for government R&D efforts and deliver high-quality work products to support projects. Interact regularly with clients and present work products to clients. Prioritize deliverables and work independently with little guidance. Basic Required Qualifications: Secret clearance, and or ability to secure clearance. 2+ years of experience with one of the following organizations DARPA, DIU, AFWRX, NavalX, Army Futures, ARPA-e, or I-ARPA. Expertise, as a SETA, Tech to Market, Contracting, and or Program Manager, and/or Office Deputy and/or Office Director. Deep understanding and expertise in BAAs, reviewing RFPs, BAAs, communicating with performers, and contracting compliances working with university, Government and Industry and government contracting. 3+ years of Commercial Experience. 3+ years of direct project management of technical and or commercial projects. Experience with entrepreneurship. commercialization, product/market strategy, and business experience. 3+ Experience with authoring and communicating reports, or program plans for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to explain and present complex scientific concepts, contracting processes and DARPA requirements to performers and other SMEs and SCAs. Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. Ability to maintain compliance with internal procedures and government regulations PhD degree. Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience with acquisition, commercialization, science and technology policy. Possession of excellent scientific and technical domains, and writing skills. Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience interacting with executives and senior leaders from the DoD, academia, and the commercial sector. Experience in financial management and forecasting. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills. TS/SCI clearance. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
