Description: Upon the relaunch of our International Division, Contract Scotland are pleased to offer various relocation opportunities in Canada. We are working in close partnership with a client as they seek experienced candidates from the UK/Scotland who are interested in joining their teams for current and future infrastructure projects in Toronto such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, rail and airports. Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is accountable for providing project management and direction for a project while ensuring timely completion and profitability. The Project Manager is involved in project planning and start-up, project financials, project pre-construction, project execution and close-out, HSEQ, and maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring junior project management team personnel and possesses the technical, leadership, and communication skills necessary to complete a project from estimate to close-out with limited supervision. Background/experience required: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business or a related field is required Previous experience on roads/infrastructure projects would be useful Experience working with Tier 1 civil engineering contractors in the UK. Depending upon the project size, scope, and complexity, the years of experience may vary.
