Test Automation Engineer-Remote/Hybrid Model Location-Hethersett or Sutton Greater London Proagrica is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join its Ag Solutions division. The successful candidate will demonstrate the desire to collaborate with a team of developers to design and develop quality, via automated tests, into products rather than inspecting for issues later in the release cycle. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Key responsibilities within this role include: Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to enable delivery of high-quality software products and services successfully and consistently on time, on budget, and to specification. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards. Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business. Work with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts to plan and execute automated and performance tests, and exploratory testing where required. Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly. Identify opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to meet testing needs. All other duties as assigned. Key Skills Required: We are seeking a strong Test Automation Engineer who leads by example and will: Be a proven test automation engineer with experience in JavaScript running in Node.js using a JavaScript automation testing framework such as Test Caf©, NightwatchJs, Cypress.io, Jasmine, Mocha etc. Have experience with Behaviour Driven Development and testing tools like Cucumber. Have experience of integrating automated tests with continuous integration pipelines. Have experience with Git / BitBucket SCM. Have experience of working in an Agile Development environment (Scrum/Kanban) Have proven ability to develop and execute automated functional, non-functional and performance testing. Have a proactive approach to problem solving and strong research skills (tools/root cause analysis) What is it like to work here?
