Job Summary: This is an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic and emerging organization in the oil and gas industry! This is an entry level position, so you can come in on the ground level and create a career path if you choose. For this position, you may be required to work in Northern Alberta and BC or travel to the USA to work in either Pennsylvania, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, North Dakota, or Colorado. Passport required Our Operators work on a schedule of 20 days on and 10 days off (based on business needs), and accommodations are provided while on shift rotation. Medical and dental benefits are provided to full time employees. This position requires extensive travel. Position is starting at $22/hr 401K with company match Responsibilities and Duties Duties include but are not limited to the following: Operate safely within the work environment assigned, as follows: Operate units according to the Company's operating procedures Provide basic maintenance/operational inspections, as required for tanks Maintain accurate records relating to the above duties with prompt submission to the Supervisor Coordinate and/or assists with mobs and demobs Assist in other related duties as may be required from time to time. Qualifications and Skills Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems in a very fast-paced environment A strong team player Ability to work away from home for long periods of time Able to do physically demanding tasks Understanding of creating/maintaining inspection reports (pre-job, post-job), maintenance and repair reports, accident or incident reports, and dangerous goods occurrence reports Exceptional communication and organizational skills Always approachable and professional in approach Able to keep several projects/tasks moving forward at once; nothing slips through the cracks Capable of working in an unsupervised environment; proactive; doesn't wait for instruction Ability to prioritize and adapt to change.
