Unified Comms Team Manager.
Unified Comms Team Leader wanted for a global company to lead the Unified Comms team of 8 members in located in the UK and global offices which is accountable for global communication and collaboration services, delivered by third parties, for all 30 offices, supporting users, 24 X 7.
The team is accountable for the global critical video conferencing, communication and collaboration services and platforms, telephony, meeting room video conferencing services, global AV (audio visual) design and configuration, responding to, designing, and overseeing the implementation of the technical solution for large virtual events as well as providing hosting services where needed. Working closely with the Architecture team in formulating a strategic direction for the firm's UC, conferencing, and events platform.
Technical experience, in-depth knowledge, and exposure to a broad range of conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and others, as well as experience with training and support.
Strong technical knowledge in a broad range of audio-visual technologies and experience in implementing, supporting and managing the audio-visual technical infrastructure.
Technical knowledge in a range of virtual event platforms and media technologies
Good understanding of the components within the server, storage, and application layers of the IT infrastructure
Experienced in vendor management, preferably at least one in a managed service arrangement Experience in managing a large team that is located globally
Experience in managing senior-level stakeholders
