Position: Surgery - General Physician Assistant |
Description: Join a progressive and well-supported surgical team as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery with a leading not-for-profit health system in Findlay, OH. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside expert surgeons and gain exposure to robot-assisted procedures, complex cases, and a wide scope of clinical responsibilities across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities:
First-assist in the operating room for general surgery procedures
Manage post-op rounding and inpatient surgical consults
Write progress notes and collaborate with physicians on care plans
Conduct physical exams and manage acute surgical and critical care conditions
Place preoperative orders and evaluate clinic consults
Coordinate post-operative care plans and patient/family education
Interpret imaging (CT, Ultrasound) and make clinical recommendations
Handle patient calls and questions during weekday hours
