Position: Stores Administrator


Description: We are recruiting for an experienced Stores Administrator to join our client in the Renewable Energy Sector on an initial one years fixed term contract.


You will be working in the heart of the whole operation keeping the day to day running of the Stores Department as effective and as efficient as possible, working very closely with the Stock Controller and stores team to support the stores department.


The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support. They will be able to work independently in a busy working environment and be extremely organised, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a diverse team.


The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:



  • Receptions duties for the Warehouse



  • First point of contact and all general enquires relating to the stores department

  • Deal with all correspondence, queries and complaints

  • Create and manage the Stores filing systems - Paper and e-files

  • Assist with purchasing and ordering for stores

  • Lead with weekly stock takes for sites as per plan

  • Daily monitoring and processing of stores mailbox

  • Check Pro Alpha (mngt system) for stock and process any parts transfers required

  • Support and assist the stores team on the purchase process from start to finish (purchase order, delivery notes, invoices, bill of transfer)

  • Assist with communications of lead times of parts, tooling and PPE to all relevant stakeholders

  • Support the stores team as required


    Desirable qualifications for the role are:



  • A good understanding and/or relevant experience in a similar role

  • Good knowledge of equipment and processes for wind turbine sites would be beneficial, but not essential

  • Good knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams

  • Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)

  • Attentive and a strong attention to detail

  • Organised timekeeping and multitasking
