Senior Software Developer / Full Stack Engineer (Node React Ruby)

    You could join this rapidly growing Creative Services agency in a 6 month fixed term contract (with the opportunity to go permanent). This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you'll be a key figure across the full development lifecycle, from liaising directly with clients during the requirements phase, through to the solution user-centred design and delivery, working with up-to-the-minute technologies like Ruby, JavaScript, Node, React and Golang (project dependent).

    In this Senior Software Developer role, you'll spearhead the design, development, testing and deployment of digital products and services in production. As a senior team member you'll drive best practice, championing collaborative development processes like TDD, Pair Programming and Code Reviews. You'll be part of a talented cross-functional team, so experience working collaboratively with similar teams is highly advantageous.


  • Please note: this role is a 6 month fixed term contract with an opportunity to go permanent. This this company is able to offer a fully remote interview and onboarding process and are currently operating fully remotely. There are plans for a gradual return to the Glasgow-based offices with continued flexible work opportunities (2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

  • Requirements:

    • You have commercial hands-on coding skills with at least one of the following languages: Ruby on Rails, Node, React, Python, Go
    • You have worked with JavaScript for client side development
    • You're an advocate of CI/CD and have worked in environments with TDD / BDD approaches
    • You're a proactive team player who excels when working collaboratively
    • You're ambitious; keen to develop your knowledge and share ideas
    • Ability to achieve Security Clearance; must have been UK resident for over 5 years
