My client a large US Telecoms Carrier is currently looking for a Provisioner for their EMEA CTI Transport Build and Testing team.

The Provisioner will be responsible for the Building, Testing and deployment of European and transatlantic customer orders across the Network.

At all times ensuring the product line meets strict customer standards while adhering to business revenue requirements. To act as a Tier 3 Provisioner within the team and will be expected to train/Mentor other team members.

The Main Responsibilities

Exhibit a thorough understanding of Implementation and operational issues, demonstrated by a practical approach to technical problem solving.

Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple orders with various multiple deadlines and priorities.

Ensure that within the Provisioning team, the manager's philosophy of ownership of customer orders is followed, stressing the need for individual order accountability. This will require each member of the team to identify risks and raise appropriate escalations or expedites to mitigate against these risks.

Applicant should be a strong team player and able to integrate into a team quickly and effectively

Identify process/system failures, and work with the Manager of EMEA Transport to create relevant Service Improvement Plans to ensure long term resolution of these failures.

Continuous development of Provisioners' processes & procedures to ensure best in class.

Build and test network utilising the various tools and Platforms at all Transport levels, also including dark fibre and co-location services traversing the Transport Network.

Ensure the veracity of customer service designs and quality by completing Lumen standard Bert and RFC testing over the network and third party leased components.

Maintain and manage testing records for future reference

The applicant is expected to partake in an on-call rota which may include some out of hours work.

Minimum Requirements

Technical experience of SDH/PDH/DWDM/SONET Products within a large Telecommunications Service Provider.

Applicants should have extensive knowledge of DWDM/ETHERNET/SDH/SONET principles and network architectures and be conversant with performance measurement/testing techniques using both transmission equipment features and protocol analysers.

Experience of interfacing with internal teams for dependency resolution such as Operations, Planning, Product & Sales organisations.
