Procurement System Support Specialist
12 month contract
ss300 per day

The Digital Procurement Team deliver digital and technology expertise across Global Procurement focusing across the value chain from Source to Pay, including third party risk and buying channels. The main responsibilities of the team are to select, implement and manage the digital platforms supporting the procurement organisation, ensuring they align with business requirements and using lean and design thinking techniques for continuous improvement. Effective partnering with IT, the Strategy and Operational Excellence team and platform suppliers will be critical to success.

The Platform Support Specialist is a hands-on role involving all aspects of service delivery and maintenance for a portfolio of platforms. This will include dealing with end user queries and issues, as well as helping triage, diagnose, recover and avoid technology issues and problems. The role will help to drive adoption of the technology platforms across by providing a best in class service to end users, using the latest digital concepts and innovations to improve and enhance the total end user experience.

Typical Accountabilities
. Works with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver best practice end to end support for a portfolio of technology platforms
. Provides technical support for technology platforms on a day-to-day basis, ensuring adequate support is available
. Provides training to end users and new starters for use of technology platforms, including maintenance of all training content
. Provide expert advice, guidance and support on current use of a portfolio of platforms such as best practice configuration of sourcing events and supplier performance scorecards
. Keeps own knowledge of process and technology changes up to date
. Support new projects and platform change activity by acting as a Subject Matter Expert for technology platforms
. Develops relationships across internal & external companies and potential suppliers to promote and to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement

. All Members of the Procurement function
. Supplier customer support teams

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

. The role is specifically to support just one application (Jaggaer), so experience of this or a similar system is essential.
. Experience of procurement processes and practices
. Experience in a customer service role
. Digital mindset and a dedication to user experience and continuous improvement
. Effective communication and influencing skills, ability to network internally and externally
. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

. Experience in leading a technology related customer service team
. Experience of working with procurement technology
. LEAN and Design Thinking or equivalent experience
. Degree or equivalent qualification
