Required Skills: Proven experience in open-heart and thoracic surgeries Strong proficiency in patient assessment, perioperative management, and surgical procedures Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in emergency trauma settings Nice to Have Skills: Experience in trauma call coverage Familiarity with advanced surgical techniques and new thoracic procedures Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO with board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in a similar setting Previous experience covering ER trauma calls preferred Other Requirements: Availability to start by or before 04/06/2026 Valid medical license in applicable state(s) Willingness to provide coverage for flexible hours as needed Certification in relevant specialties and active medical license required This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare organization while enhancing your professional growth.
