Description:
This is for a full-time position, working Monday-Thursday 7:00a-4:30p or 7:30a-5:00p and Friday 7:00a-11:30a. There is no weekend or major holiday coverage required. Our Maternal Fetal Medicine offices are located at Doctors Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Marion General Hospital, Pickerington Methodist Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital. We offer an annual uniform allowance and an annual allowance towards RDMS renewal. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Performs routine OB/GYN sonograms includes Level I, II, BPP, Transvaginal l and reviews studies and reports with Perinatologist. Assist physician in fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures. Assists in resident teaching in ultrasound. Data entry of obstetrical ultrasound reports. Performs Doppler Imaging and fetal echocardiograms. Organizes activities to assure conformity to established policies and procedures and standards of quality care. Maintain and oversee satellite ultrasound machine on L&D. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE ARDMS registry - OB/ GYN preferred. Must receive OB/GYN ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire. Ideal candidate has two years' experience in OB/GYN ultrasonography, PW Doppler Imaging, and fetal echocardiography
