Description: Our client in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role working with a sports medicine physician. Candidates will assist in surgery, see patients in clinic and on the floor. Monday-Friday schedule no call or weekend requirements. Experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities: Provide outpatient and first assist services Examine patients and their medical records Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Educate patients and their family members Promote good health practices Qualifications: Active California state license or ability to obtain Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits: Competitive compensation, production bonus offered Full benefits package 401k Medical, dental, vision options PTO CME |
