Office Manager/Lead Administrator (Personal Assistant PA Executive Assistance Office Manager Part Time Administration Administrator Operations Working From Home WFH Flexi-Working Word Excel part time) required in London. We are looking for an Office Manager/Lead Administrator to join a company of 4 that operates in a work-from-home, remote set up. This would be a part time, permanent role that would involve working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; five mornings a week or five afternoons a week- we can be flexible here. These days may be extended to the whole week, if you have the capability and if the work load requires. This is something that can be addressed on a need-by-need basis. You will be paid a pro-rata salary as a result.
The role will consist of the following areas: sales support, finance, operations and personal administration. The company provides global recruitment and headhunting services. You may contribute towards this function through research of markets on LinkedIn, tracking sales figures and activity, answering the switchboard and monitoring adverts. Financially, you will be required to track and administer inbound and outbound invoices. You will administer reports on revenues and the PnL. You will work alongside an external bookkeeper who is responsible for VAT, salaries and communication with HMRC. From an operations perspective, you will be involved in the communication with external vendors for marketing and technology. You will source equipment as required by the company and organise social events and activities. You will also inherit the data protection element of the company within this area. For personal administration, you will assist the director of the company by, from time to time, arranging travel and some other duties.
You will inherit the role from an extremely capable employee who was in the role for almost 3 years. As a result, the role will largely mean the continuation of existing practices. This may change if the company grows. It could result in the need for more offices and assistance with internal hiring. The role will largely be 'business-as-usual' however there will likely be projects that appear that you will deliver. These are pieces of work, such as finding a new office for example, that will require a one-off time commitment.
The role offers autonomy, the opportunity to acquire and practise a broad range of skills and insight into the way a company is run. You will be trusted and given as much responsibility as you can manage. To help with the training, you will be assisted by another part time worker and thorough documentation of the duties in the role.
This is a part time role that requires three days' work a week or the equivalent of 5 half days. We can be flexible on this.
Salary: ss30k - ss34k (Pro Rata) + Pension + Bonuses
