Hygiene Team Leader
As a dynamic food manufacturer operating from a modern factory site, an opportunity is available for a Hygiene Team Leader to ensure cleaning schedules and standards are managed and maintained.
The Hygiene Team Leader will supervise a small team of reports and will have responsibility for a broad range of activities including, day-to-day Hygiene, Laundry, Deep Clean (strip machines and clean), and the co-ordination of outsourced Hygiene and Site Services (Plant Hygiene Schedules, COSHH/Chemicals, Pest Control, Waste Removal, Tray Wash).
Assisting the Technical Manager with the coordination of the site Hygiene System, the jobholder will ensure all documentation is available and effectively communicated to other departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities include: accompanying the Technical Manager on Hygiene Audit Inspections, conducting internal hygiene audits, ensuring staff are trained and developed and understand their accountabilities regarding site Hygiene and COSHH requirements.
The Hygiene Supervisor will operate in a 'hands on' manner, working with the team as well as supervising to ensure cleaning schedules are completed (daily & weekly), and complete all necessary documentation to ensure BRC standards, legal compliance and In-house expectations are met.
Applicants should have a minimum of 12 months experience of Supervising Hygiene Teams within a Food Manufacturing environment and be flexible in their working hours. There will be No Night Shift working in this role.
