Full Stack Engineer / Developer (Python Data API React). Are you a bright, ambitious Full Stack Engineer? You could be working on intellectually and technically challenging projects whilst developing an understanding of financial eTrading systems whilst working with some of the world's best software engineers as part of a supportive Agile team at a global Quantitative Investment firm.

As a Full Stack Engineer you will design and develop complex, high-throughput real-time market data, pricing and trading systems with high performance APIs. You'll be working across the full tech stack with a focus on the Python backend and with some JavaScript React client side work for data visualisations.

You'll be joining a hugely talented team with counterparts in Singapore and Montreal and will learn and develop your technology skills and business knowledge; opportunities to move into Technical Leadership if desired; you'll be supported to reach your full potential.

You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit and 360 views of the City; the company is able to offer a remote interview process / onboarding process and work from during the current social distancing measures (full time office based thereafter).

Requirements:

• Strong backend Python development skills
• Genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to collaborate in technical discussions and take ownership
• Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Orientated Programming
• Familiar with JavaScript and React for client side development
• Ideally you have some experience with SQLAlchemy
• STEM degree, 2.1 or above
