    Keep Education have an exciting opportunity for a Design Technology Teacher (DT) to teach KS3/KS4 pupils, the High School is based in the Hertfordshire area. This is a full-time role starting in January 2019 until the end of the academic year.

    The successful candidate will join a well-structured and supportive department. This school has excellent facilities and provides students with all the equipment and experience they need in order to have the best opportunities, the applicant must have passion for teaching Design Technology and have the ability to pass this on to their students

    Your responsibilities will include

    • ss Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays

    • ss Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils

    • ss Having control over a whole class and maintaining discipline

    • ss Preparing and marking set work, including homework, to facilitate pupil development

    • ss Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in structure

    • ss Liaising with fellow colleagues and parents to get the most out of your pupils' development

    Must have:

    • ss Qualified teacher with QTS.

    • ss Experience teaching DT to up to KS4

    • ss Have recent proven experience teaching in a secondary school environment.

    • ss Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa).

    • ss Recent UK classroom based references and valid DBS/police checks.
