Position: Customer Support Manager - Arnhem area

Our international client who are an international Engineering company in the Arnhem area, are looking for a dynamic, proactive and motivated Customer Service Manager. The successful candidate will bring his or her people management experience and provide technical and commercial sales support to the global sales organization. In this role, you will lead a support and contract team who work closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineers and Supply Chain departments to build and maintain professional relationships with the customers.



Main Duties

  • Oversee Order Management, Customer Support, Backorders and Bidding teams
  • Supervise the entire order entry and order management process (e.g. Review customer and sales orders for completeness);
  • Pro-actively manage customers and solve issues in a timely manner;
  • Use KPI's to track the performance levels of the departments;
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching;
  • Keep track of quality insurance of the products;
  • Liaise with Sales, Project Management, Engineers and Supply Chain departments to ensure accurate solutions for the customer's needs.
  • Guiding, motivating and monitoring growth opportunities and personal development plans for employees



Requirements

  • HBO+ level of education, an HTS study program in the field of mechanical engineering or technical business administration is preferred;
  • Proven track record as a manager in a technical, commercial and international environment;
  • Proven track record as a People Manager;
  • Commercial and technical expertise and affinity;
  • Strong MS-office skills, especially Excel;
  • Strong SAP/ SAP-BW skills;
  • Dutch and English language skills required. Other EU language skills are a pre;
