Contract Rate: Euro 310 per day
Contract Length: 12 Months with Multiple extensions
Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Cloud Engineer IaaS to join their client in Warsaw.
Knowledge and skills
- Must hold first cycle higher education in computer science or related field.
- Must hold mid-level AWS or MS cloud certificates.
- Experience of building a range of Cloud Services including Compute, Storage, Network, etc.
- Excellent scripting skills.
- Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and techniques.
- Security and Compliance, e.g. cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools.
- Experience in dealing with multiple support groups that contribute to a service.
- Technical knowledge Azure or AWS technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning).
- Programming experience in the following languages: PowerShell, Terraform, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt and object orientated programming languages.
- Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and scripting preferably Red Hat.
Typical tasks and responsibilities
- Administration and monitoring of Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud (including subscriptions, identities, resources management, automation of processes and tasks).
- Monitoring and reporting on resource utilization and consumption related to the Cloud.
- Administration and monitoring of development environment deployed in the Cloud.
- Provisioning and de-provisioning of development environments and DevOps projects.
- Provides 2 nd line support to the application development teams in regards of Cloud Services.
- Experience in ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes.
