Our client a busy well established quality care provider based in the Redditch area is now looking to recruit an experienced Domiciliary Care Coordinator to work as part of a friendly dedicated team in the office planning weekly care staff rotas, answering calls from families, care managers, staff, service users and external agencies etc. You will need to have good experience as either a coordinator currently working within this care sector or as a senior carer who has care planning experience within the Domiciliary care sector or sheltered housing/supported living complexes.
Ideally you will have already achieved your level 3 or working towards this, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, have a cheerful approachable enthusiastic attitude to your work and be passionate about high quality care delivery. You will need to be supportive of staff and monitor staff ensuring they are well informed and briefed on care packages and service user requirements according to their own individual care plans. You will need to have experience with liaising with care managers, external agencies, families and NHS services and be able to prioritise your ever changing work load.
You will be well supported and receive full training but you will need excellent IT skills and an eye for detail. There will be some on call duties as part of the rota, although this job is a Monday-Friday office hours position, of course flexibility will be required due to the nature of the business as you may be required to cover some visits on occasion.
You will need good knowledge of the CQC regs and care standards and have good supervisory experience and strong leadership skills as you will be managing field care supervisors and care staff ensuring excellent communication and quality care.
