Business Development Manager (Biomass/ Bioenergy)
We are an early stage Green technology company based in the South East region of Ireland and we have developed an innovative biomass combustion grate technology. A market for this product already exists in Ireland and this market will be used as the platform to build a global presence. We are very much a customer focused company and it is our vision to measure our ability to put our clients first.
We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to direct and manage our organization's business activities as a recent start up and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs into the future.
We are now seeking to employ a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience in a similar position with a proven track record in growing sales. Exceptional communications & presentation skills are a must. The role would suit a real go-getter with a strong desire to succeed and a genuine passion for this market.
•Searching for new clients who could benefit from our products and service.
•Develop a personal sales plan, to achieve target and report sales activities against plan/KPI's
•Will be involved in a wide range of projects, from feasibility assessment to project complication.
•Attending project meetings and site visits.
•Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
•Persuading clients that the product or service will best satisfy their needs.
•Calculating client heat load requirements.
• Provide detailed quotations and technical descriptions.
•Managing & interfacing Tender submissions and timely submitting of tenders and negotiating contract terms.
•Follow up on submitted tenders and documents and relevant feedback.
•Attend post tender meetings.
•Liaising with third party contractors.
•Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
•Offering after-sales support services.
• Preparing reports for head office.
•Meeting regular sales targets.
•Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
•Liaising with other members of the sales team and production manager.
•Drafting press articles, publications, newsletters and research documents.
•Attending industry shows and events to promote and develop business.
•Public speaking, including seminars, conferences and exhibitions.
•Background in the biomass boiler market.
•Fundamental understanding of basic engineering principles (HVAC & Building Services).
•Electrical/Mechanical would be an advantage.
•Proven track record in selling complex heating solutions.
•Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with potential customers.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work part of a team and take a leadership role in the team.
•Clean valid Driving license (Required)
