Position: Advertising Sales / Business Development Manager

If you are looking for a role where you can have direct influence over the growth & direction of the business you could be just the person we need to help drive sales on our two well established publications focusing on capital markets / securities trading and grow our bespoke publishing and events business.
Best Execution is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary and The DESK is in its fourth year of publication, and we are currently planning for the launch of our third title
Your role will be to build on the success of these titles and engage with some of the world's largest banks and solutions providers, all the way through the spectrum to "one man band" vendors to build new customer relationships and develop and grow existing ones, delivering client solutions and marketing packages utilising a consultative sales approach.
The key tasks of the Sales Manager include:
- Portfolio selling across associated products including magazine, website, supplements and events.
- Identify and implement new business opportunities eg. Awards etc.
- Develop and build upon strong client relationships within the industry to ensure that clients objectives are met and revenue targets are exceeded.
- Develop new sales leads and to maintain a database of possible advertisers, and to monitor competitive magazines.
- Ensure that the client database (CRM) is maintained and ensure that all client activity is logged and all new business is recorded to enable accurate follow up, production and invoicing
Additionally you will be responsible to recruit, build and manage a successful sales team.
