Account Manager/Senior Account Executive, Biotech/Health/Science PR
Description: As Account Manager of Public Relations, you will lead
communications initiatives on several key accounts in the agency's
growing client roster of life science clients as well as mentor and
oversee the junior account team. As Senior Account Executive, you
will immerse yourself in our client stories, understanding their
business model, product development and/or commercialization
strategy, the potential market place and disease indications,
competitive landscape, pipeline, and the science behind it all.
Public relations, agency and industry experience as well as a
demonstrated ability to lead accounts and junior staffers are
required as the Account Manager, PR. Senior Account Executives must
be experienced in executing PR and communication tactics including
press releases, media relations, collateral development, and social
media/digital content. In addition, candidates will be required to
work on media and investor lists and should be comfortable making
cold calls and being on the phone for extended periods of time.
Candidates must be able to correspond with clients and be
proficient in time management and budget controls.
Successful candidates will be energetic, detail oriented,
self-starters with a demonstrated ability to take action and make
things happen. An ability to work under deadlines and manage time
effectively as well as an unflappable personality is important.
Fitting into the agency culture, desire to learn and willingness to
do whatever it takes to maintain a successful client relationship
is the key to success. Please note that the primary role is
providing corporate communications services to our clients.
