Description: Live-in Caregiver for Child with Special Needs– Surrey BC
We are looking for a nanny/caregiver to help care for our sweet 4 year old son 40 hours a week (Monday - Friday 8-4 pm, some flexibility in these hours). Our son is very easy going and quiet. We are looking for somebody to care for him in our home, taking her to play dates and other activities as needed. Our son is mildly autistic and verbal-emerging; he understands what is said to him but struggles to speak as of now. He receives regular therapy. He also goes to pre-school. He is not violent or hyper active. He is just really quiet and behaves. We are looking for a devoted caregiver who will genuinely love, play with, and care for our son.
Duties include:
- caring for 4 year old son while parents are working
- accompany my son while he is attending the therapy or at pre-school
- basic bathing and grooming of 4 years old
- meal preparation for him; snacks, breakfast and lunch
