| Position: Personal Assistant Caregiver |
Description: Support staff must demonstrate understanding and commitment to the principles of Personal Assisting. They must understand and accept that supports will be molded to fit the consumer’s needs, and they will explore alternatives if or when her needs change. Competence in a wide range of areas including household management and individual programming is essential, along with the ability and desire to integrate community resources.
The staff-to consumer ratio is one-to one for delivery of direct care and for all hours the consumer is under the supervision of ABSHC;
Provides for the personal needs and comfort of consumers in their homes up to 40 hours per week
